THE ACCIDENTAL LIFE OF GREG MILLAR begs the question: “How well do we really know the people we love?”
In summary: Greg Millar is like no one Lucy Arigho has ever met, an effervescent vitamin C tablet on full dissolve. After just weeks, he persuades her to marry him and become a step-mom to his two children, Rachel and Toby. On holiday in the South of France, as a heatwave builds, Lucy starts to question Greg’s increasingly bizarre behaviour and to wonder whether his larger-than-life personality hides something darker—and whether she knows him at all. The book itself has an interesting story. Originally published by Penguin as LOVE COMES TUMBLING, I went on to self-publish it when publishing rights reverted to me. I never liked the original title so I changed it to THE ACCIDENTAL LIFE OF GREG MILLAR. I re-edited the story, learning so much in the process – how much language can change in eight years, how much society’s views can change in such a positive way, and how much a person (me!) can change – especially in terms of how I viewed the characters. Not long after I published the novel, I was approached by Lake Union Publishing who wished to republish it under their imprint.
Like all my books, THE ACCIDENTAL LIFE OF GREG MILLAR is available on Kindle Unlimited.
